Safer Internet - Web 2.0 tools are everywhere

 

Starting as an initiative of the EU SafeBorders project in 2004 and taken up by the Insafe network as one of its earliest actions in 2005, Safer Internet Day has grown beyond its traditional geographic zone and is now celebrated in more than 130 countries worldwide, and across all continents. In the spirit of the theme "Together for a better internet", our Etwinning project working group "Web 2.0 tools are everywhere" joins the global campaign to promote a safer internet for everyone who uses it, especially children and young people.
